Imagine a world where you own a business line which has increasing revenues and reduced costs resulting in an expanded margin.  Sounds good, right?  Now what if I throw in the idea of improved risk management as well as lowered and controlled IT costs? Sounds great, you may think.  Then to get completely wild I tell you that business owners can have flexibility in the products they offer and it is all delivered with peace of mind from IT.  Possibly a banker’s utopia!

Anytime, anywhere mobile banking access taken to new heights

As reported from a few different news sources including both the American Banker and Finextra a pair of customers from Standard Chartered took the bank's mobile banking application to new heights, literally, conducting a stock trade from their phone from the South Base Camp on Mount Everest. The feat has landed these two customers in the Guiness Book of World Records but more importantly it allows us to talk about the anytime, anywhere access to banking that consumers are expecting from their banks.

Up The Momentum

I’m going to state the obvious, financial institutions need to grow their revenues.  Not a shocking statement at all, but one that is worth restating.  The question remains, “but how?”  In an environment where less than half of consumers trust their bank, how does a financial institution increase revenues?
